The blood starts pouring is in the first 3 minutes when an asylum worker takes a knife to the crotch and then his throat is sliced. At the 4.5 minute mark, a teacher gets stabbed with the same blade in her left boob. Welcome to Splatter University.

Julie Parker accepts a teaching position at a Catholic university to teach Intro to Sociology. Her students continually ignore her, make smart remarks, and run the class. She meets Mark, a fellow teacher, and they start dating, but Mark's past is a little questionable as he was involved with the chick that got her boob gouged.

Kathy, a student of Ms. Parker’s, thinks she might be knocked up, so she decides to break the news to her boyfriend at the drive-in. While trying to make out, they get bushwhacked by a guy with a flashlight, so tough guy, Johnny, gets out of the car to confront the asshole. Kathy follows, but can't find Johnny. When he returns to the car, he finds Kathy in the passenger seat with her throat cut.

In Julie's eyes, all signs point to Mark as the mass murderer, so she goes to his apartment to look for clues. There, she finds newspaper clippings of the slain, which further proves he’s the one. Shortly after, her friend is found dead in a closet in her classroom, another teacher gets a blade to the gut in the bathroom, and a student opens her closet door and gets jabbed in the mouth.

Julie takes her concerns to Father Janson, the head master, but come to find out, he's the one causing all the bodies to pile up. He believes he’s destined by God to get rid of the sins of the flesh. Mark hits the scene, finds Julie dead, and then goes to Janson's office where the finds blood around a crucifix on the wall. The scene then cuts to an asylum where Janson is in a straight jacket, and we find out then that he was an asylum escapee impersonating a priest.

Not a bad movie, but only Michael Myers can get away with using the same blade over and over again. The killings get a little redundant, and the blood color and splatter fluctuate with each victim. The audio is low-toned, so I had to crank it up so the dead could hear it. But, even with all it’s faults, it’s still tolerable to watch. I kept feeling that this movie had a Tromatic feel, so when doing research, I found out that the director, Richard W. Haines, was also involved with The Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke ‘Em High. It’s nothing great, but worth a rent, especially if you’re a fan of 80’s b-movies and pre-Toxie Troma.
