Movies not worth a real review 1

I watched a few movies that weren't worth the effort to do a real review, but I still gave a rating and added comments:

In the Dark-a Blair Witch style production in which some friends go into a condemned mental hospital only to face a pissed-off Lizzie Duncan, a patient who was burnt in the building's fire years earlier. Rating: 1.

Hurt-Micheal confesses to a journalist about his killing/raping spree with flashbacks of the events. Rating: 2.

Hallowed Ground-a cult-priest's soul is brought back to life through a scarecrow to fulfill "the prophecy." CGI crows, lame killings, and bad story plague this movie. And, I'd swear this had the same scarecrow designer as Scarecrow Slayer. If you want to see a good scarecrow movie, watch Scarecrows from 1988 (see Smokeskrene's review). This stinker's rating is 2.

Night of the Living Dead 3-D (watched in 2-D)-this is a not-so-bad remake of Romero's classic, but tends to rely on the obvious rather than re-inventing it. The best part are the zombies (a few cool ones), and Sid Haig, who compliments most movies he's in. Rating: 3.
