Amanda wakes up to find her mother’s dead body. The story then fast-forwards to 13 years later, where she returns home to see her grandmother on her death bed. She’s greeted by three gentlemen, The Judge, The Doctor, and Mr. Kearn, the museum curator, who all have ulterior motives for granny’s house. She continues to get calls from a raspy-voiced stalker who watches her through a crack in the wall, and fondles a doll in her likeness.

Amanda visits the museum where Mr. Kearn has made a mannequin in remembrance of her mother. Creeped out, she demands all her grandmother’s stuff be returned to the house, and runs out. The doctor and judge get whacked by cross-dressing Mr. Kearn, who continues to torment Amanda. As her delirium peaks, she accidently kills her doctor boyfriend, who came along to monitor her grandmother’s health.

This movie is in the same vain as Don’t Look in the Basement, but not as good. Granted, the blonde lead actress is nice to look at, and carried her part well, but the climax is too familiar and lacked originality. It’s worth a rent, but probably only once.
