I chuckled a little from the opening words, “Long ago in a time of pure evil…” then pops up, “the 1980’s.” And, my hopes started high after reading the cover, “Warning! Contains extreme violence and gratuitous nudity.” Hee hee, my kind of flick!
This movie is 100% camp, and has all the intended elements of an 80’s slasher: The Blonde, The Tough Guy, The Shy Guy, The Nerds, The Lesbians (okay, maybe not so 80’s), and The Token Black Guy, whose lines are the funniest. The plan is to have a séance in the house of Murder McGee, who’s rumored to be haunting it after his death, but they must first find the “hidden” weapons to proceed with the summoning. From there, we have lesbian sex, a staged death, which later becomes real, and camp, blood-splatter, and tits. Yes, there are plenty of boobs, but is that really gratuitous nudity? Naw, just a tagline to get your panties moist. If you like camp in a Tromatic way, this is your film, otherwise steer clear.
