THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS

{overall rating}- * * * *

{action}- Not really.

{humor}- This movie is very funny in a pathetic way. You'll want to laugh then feel bad for it almost immediately.

{nudity}- Not that I recall. Lots of beautiful actresses though.

{acting}- Absolutely top notch.

{plot}- This is basically the story of just his stardom and decline. It doesn't spend a lot of time in his early life or rise to celebrity status.

{film quality}- Very nice for an HBO production.

{entertainment factor}- The pace can be a little slow.

{Aprox. amount of time spent fast forwarding}- None.

Peter Sellers was well known for playing the Pink Panther. The story of his life was even more entertaining than these classic movies. Sellers had a wife and family much like normal people. However unlike normal people he lived in a sort of dream state that blurred the lines of his reality so much that he lost touch with who he was and started becoming his characters. He was absolutely insane. You'll love him you'll hate him. Geoffrey Rush embodies the idea of what Peter Sellers' home life might have been like. Even if you're completely unfamiliar with his work this movie will entertain you. The things that come out of Sellers mouth are absolutely mind boggling.
