{action}- Yummy yummy yummy got humans in the tummy.
{humor}- Not so much.
{blood}- Within a minute.
{gore}- Arm wrestling with blades is such a neat idea. Try it sometime.
{nudity}- Good lord yes.
{acting}- Really excellent for this sort of film even though the dubbing is wretched at times.
{plot}- CANNIBALS RAWWRRRR. Its typical for the genre.
{film quality}- Ever seen cannibal ferox? This is a much much better transfer.
{entertainment factor}- Its put together well enough it flies by.

People begin dying from darts covered in cobra venom. These incidents lead to the discovery of a cult that is in the process of creating a "utopian" society. Sheila ventures into the jungle with a mercenary to find her sister Diana. Sheila is a rich blonde with the kind of 70's beauty that would drive even the tamest cannibal mad. When they arrive to the village they are not exactly welcomed warmly by a "guy who looks like a criminal." (most of this dialog is criminal.) They end up drudging through the jungle looking for another village where her sister susposedly is. "Up shit creek without a paddle" as the mercenary says. As they're making their way the come upon a young tribe girl being raped and then "EATEN ALIVE." The next day as they are running from a cannibal they find the village of Jonas. (Ironically that's my fish's proper name, although he goes by Tiny 3-Spot.) Jonas is a weird looking guy with a robe that’s too low cut for a man. (He's not got any cleavage it doesn't serve him well.) If I were looking for a relative the first thing I would do upon meeting the last person they were known to be with is ask where that relative were. They get the tour first. They are having a funeral on this particular day of a villager who lost his wife. That’s when Sheila see's her topless, and well endowed, sister amongst a group of topless well endowed sisters (of this particular faith.) The brothers of the deceased have sex with his widow as part of the funeral service. Did I mention its on a bed of his ashes? This movie follows the formula for Cannibal movies and does better than most. I recommend this for anyone who likes tribesploitation. (DID I INVENT A GENRE TERM?!? SOMEONE VERIFY.)

Trademark it, I believe that's a keeper.
Since I really like the soundtracks to Italian cannibal movies, I bought the one for Cannibal Holocaust. I was quite disappointed, because although I could visualize it, it just wasn't the same hearing the music and not seeing something (human or animal) being violated along with it.
