{plot}- All the music videos have the same concept. It starts as a horror movie and ends with Lordi offering someone a chance to live as long as they rock with them.

{entertainment factor}- HUGE. Rob Zombie, Kiss, Alice Cooper and gwar eat your fucking hearts out. You’d have to, to compete with this.

It is known that lots of artists are adding DVD’s to their albums to boost sales and stifle downloading. It is also well known that in general they are almost all disappointing. This is not the case with the bonus DVD for Lordi’s Apockalypse. It all starts Live at the Market Square with what looks like millions of people chanting for the ones known as Lordi. Decked out in latex and zombie attire that put Tom Savini to shame, they take the stage one by one to an audio track begging the fans to join their rock and roll revival of sorts. What you get is a well mastered, well shot heavy metal show. Its fun. It’s some where along the lines of if Kiss and Gwar had a love child that was much more talented than its parents. There is nothing about them that isn’t fun and entertaining. Somehow it has an authentic horror feeling. Even if you’re not a metal fan you should at least seek out more of their videos on you tube for at least a single time viewing. Also included is 3 more than entertaining horror music videos, commentaries and so many extra’s it will leave your head spinning. $14.99 for this and the entire album is a steal.
