It seems like just another day at the slaughter house, as the movie opens with cows hanging upside down, their throats being slit, and buckets held below to catch the blood.

During an altercation, a taxi driver is (accidentally?) killed from repeated blows to the head from a rock. When it’s mentioned in the newspaper the next day, the killer’s girlfriend thinks they should turn themselves in. This idea isn’t welcomed, so he chokes her to death in fear of her snitching. He then tells his brother what he’s done, and is told again that he should turn himself in. Not happy with the advice, he knocks his brother in the head several times with a wrench. His brother’s fiancé comes poking around and gets a knife to throat, while her father, who’s investigating why his daughter hasn't make it home, takes a meat cleaver to the head. As the bodies pile up, so does the stench, so Marcos buys lots of air freshener and perfumes to try to cover it up.

A waitress, who has a fancy for him, drops by to cook dinner, but gets her head pounded into the wall after finding out too much. He stores all the corpses in his bedroom, cuts up what body parts will fit in a duffel bag, and takes them to work (the slaughterhouse) to discard. He meets a (bisexual?) friend who wants to help, but in the end, Marcos decides to turn himself in and returns home to wait for the police.

The first 30-45 minutes is where all the action takes place, kill after kill after kill. After hearing the first few phrases of dialog, it was obvious that something was missing, due to the horrible dubbing. And, even though I’m sure it was done to help attract a wider audience, I’d rather have watched it in the original language with subtitles. This is also a no-frills DVD, which along with no extras, also had no title menu at start-up, but it oddly became available once the feature was over and the credits ran.

This movie is kind of reminiscent of Maniac! and Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer, but the title doesn't fit as there isn't a single scene or even hint of cannibalism. It’s not the best movie Blue Underground has unearthed, but worth a watch for those with an insatiable thirst for early 70’s horror. For something a little better, try Bad Boy Buddy, Macabre, or Autopsy.
